Despite my earlier (pre-baby) insistence that screen time would be non-existent in my household, we’ve watched plenty of the ol’ tube. We don’t have cable or television service, but we do have YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon Prime hooked up to our Roku.
This at least realizes my childhood fantasy that I could have all my favorite show seasons on VHS and show them to my kid per my own schedule without them seeing any of the shows I deemed “stupid” (e.g. ‘The Magic School Bus’ instead of ‘Ren and Stimpy’) or be troubled by pesky commercials. Zulily is one of many “flash sale” sites; however it caters mostly to baby items and seeing as I am now pregnant–it fell within my shopping radar. Zulily’s adorable baby outfits were too tempting, and so I joined.
I have ordered from other flash sale sites like MyHabit (jewelry, my wedding shoes, and a gift) and TheClymb (a hammock, and some outdoor shirts) with success so I was very comfortable perusing Zulilly with an intent to buy.

The Just Between Friends event is a roaming consignment event for baby and children’s items. This is my first time going to an event like this, I heard about it through my Estate Sale weekly e-mail about a month ago and, seeing as I’m pregnant, it caught my fancy. These events occur all over mainland USA and in BC, Canada too.
